Dr. Purva Bavikar, a Consultant Nephrologist & Transplant Physician, is the first independent woman nephrologist to perform a kidney transplant in Marathwada. She is dedicated to reversing kidney disease and preserving kidney function, providing specialized care in kidney biopsies, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, critical care nephrology, and kidney transplantation. Dr. Bavikar’s contributions extend beyond clinical practice, with 11 publications and a book chapter on peritoneal dialysis in ICU care. She is also a national faculty speaker at APCM-ISPD.
